Opportunity

Established, growing, successful Southern Florida-based Beauty Products Distributor seeks an Account Manager to work with multi-location and high-volume regional and national Beauty Product Resellers. This person will work across a number of different sales channels—Online, Offline and International, with large focus on off-price, close-out, excess inventory retailers.

Note: This position requires: current/very recent dedicated (100% focus) experience calling on Buyers in the Beauty/Cosmetics/Personal Products space.

The company is stable, has a strong management team, a continual flow of new brands to represent, and well-positioned for continued growth.

 

Position Description (Brief Overview)

This role will be integral in shaping and executing the firm’s revenue strategy, driving both immediate and long-term growth through B2B relationships. The Account Manager will be a key leader in driving offline and B2B online growth with International Wholesale Partners, Domestic Off-Price Retailers, and Distributors.

  • Oversee and manage large, complex, high visibility-strategic key regional and national accounts
  • Identify key prospects, negotiate contracts, achieve new account goals
  • Build relationships, act as a trusted advisor to clients, identify win-win revenue opportunities
  • Create strategic and tactical plans to support regional and national accounts
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential business customers
  • Covert leads into long-term, valuable distribution partnerships
  • Represent company at trade shows, build new partnerships and expand distribution network
  • Work closely with the operations team to manage fulfillment and customer inventory customers
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Operations, and Customer Service teams
  • Travel as required

 


Qualifications/Requirements (Brief Overview)

  • Beauty/Cosmetics/Personal Care  industry B2B experience
  • Experience in Key Account Sales, Regional and or National a plus
  • Experience selling in a multi-sales channel position
  • Experience expanding distribution channels
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams, build lasting partners relationship
  • Experience using analytics tools to track performance/ optimize sales strategies
  • Knowledge of SEO and other Web with digital and lead generation strategies preferred
  • Experience developing partnerships, managing contracts, negotiating terms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
